Our home provides for the immediate needs of the woman and her baby including shelter, food, clothing, and baby items. We also offer evidenced based programs to educate women about parenting, nutrition, budgeting, boundary setting, healthy relationships, dignity, adoption, and more. These programs allow for structure and accountability amongst feelings of fear and uncertainty.
During their stay we expect the mothers to work on education and career goals, live in community with other mothers, and participate in the rules and structure of the house. We hope that the women experience healing through counseling, tough love, and a supportive community. Each woman will be able to stay in the home with her child until she graduates from the program by completing steps towards her goals.
Being a part of the Bella House means being a part of a community—sharing, laughing, supporting, caring and growing. Our hope is that these women will leave this experience with everything possible to create the very best home of their own.
