Families work with a developmental specialist with a support form a specialized therapist.
The current timelines include approximately 7-10 business days for the first contact to schedule; and there are approximately 45 days from initial referral for the evaluation.
They take all forms of Medicaid and private insurance and do a cost share with families at the very first visit. If the insurance does not pay, then the families are responsible for the cost share. If the family allows insurance billing, and they do not pay for the evaluation, this will be not billed to the family.
The children are tested, and eligibility determined by a specialized evaluation, there must be a certain delayed on this to be enrolled into services.
The therapist has 28 days for the first visit, but it may be done more quickly, depending on family and therapist availability.
