The JPS Mom & Baby program provides services to pregnant, postpartum, and parenting women with a child under the age of six years old who have a current or past substance use disorder.
We can connect you to:
Early prenatal care
Mental health services
Substance abuse treatment
Parenting education services
Domestic violence resources
Medically assisted treatment
Community resources
Is this for me?
If you have experienced past or current substance use and any of these:
Teen pregnancy
Current or past involvement with the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services
Living with a person who abuses drugs or alcohol
Late or no prenatal care
Financial distress
History of: domestic violence issues; mental health issues; sexual, emotional, or physical abuse; and/or abuse of drugs or alcohol
In need of medication-assisted treatment services or currently enrolled in similar program
After a referral:
A case manager will:
work with you to identify personal goals
develop a personalized service plan
provide community resources including education, information, and referrals
meet with you every month to support you and your goals
Program enrollment is voluntary. The groups and services provided by JPS Mom & Baby are offered at no cost, courtesy of JPS Health Network and the Texas Department of State Health Services.
