Beginning Tuesday, March 31, 2020 several Public Health clinics and WIC clinics will temporarily close to limit possible staff and client exposure to COVID-19, but others will remain open to provide needed services.
Applications can be made by phone. Please call 817-321-5400 for WIC appointments and applications. The WIC Call Center will be open from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., Monday - Friday.
Currently, nine WIC Locations are open for drop box / mail service only. Operating hours are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 - 6 p.m. Monday thru Friday. A list of the nine operating clinics is below:

-Public Health's Main Campus on S. Main Street, Fort Worth

Applicants must live in the state of Texas to be accepted, but do not have to be a citizen.
WIC is open to many incomes and families. If you already have Medicaid, TANF, or SNAP and meet other eligibility requirements, you meet the the income requirements. If not you can still qualify for meeting income guidelines:
Household Members: 1 = Gross Monthly Income is up to $1,926
Household Members: 2 = Gross Monthly Income is up to $2,607
Household Members: 3 = Gross Monthly Income is up to $3,289
Household Members: 4= Gross Monthly Income is up to $3,970
Household Members: 5 = Gross Monthly Income is up to $4,652
Household Members: 6 = Gross Monthly Income is up to $5,333
