  • Arlington Life Shelter provides a safe place to sleep, eat, wash clothes, and clean up. Arlington Life Shelter does not provide transportation, groceries, clothing, or help in paying bills or rent.

     Entrance Requirements:

    You must have two forms of identification. One of those forms of I.D. must have photo identification. This can include:

    • A driver's license (from any state or country) 
    • A state ID card 
    • A military ID card 
    • A passport (from any country)  
    • A student ID card 
    • A copy of your mugshot if you have ever been arrested in Arlington. You can get a copy of your mugshot from the Arlington Police Department at the corner of Division and Cooper.  
    • Background checks, breathalyzer tests and urine drug tests are performed and must be clear.

      All bed and space assignments are made on a first come, first served basis. We do not hold beds for new residents. However, when you become a resident, we will hold your assigned bed as long as you are in the program.
      

    • Call first to find out if beds are available.  Be prepared to notify the facility if a child will be accompanying you.
