• In partnership with local vendors, the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth is providing grab-and-go meals to students while schools are closed due to COVID-19. Food will be distributed from 4-6 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday only. Pickup on Monday will be for two days (Monday and Tuesday) and pickup on Wednesday will be for three days (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday).This program has also partnered with The Tarrant County School-Age Collaborative offers all-day care for school-age children across Tarrant County to provide a reduced cost for child care.

    In addition, offers all-day care for school-age children across Tarrant County. This trusted nonprofit partner is offering full-day care for K-6th graders. Each program includes virtual learning supervision along with enrichment activities to ensure that all children have a safe, supportive place to be while their parents work, and schools are limited to virtual learning due to COVID. Special safety precautions will be in place – please visit your providers web site for more details about the protocols at your chosen site.

    Programs are subsidized through Tarrant County Cares Act funding beginning September 8th.
