• As of 11/6/2024 they are only able to help with Ambit, Armos, Cirro, Reliant, and TXU, as well as minor plumbing issues. Arlington Urban Ministries provides emergency assistance for utilities, gas, rent, and food for those in crisis. There is also some seasonal assistance. ONLY serves Arlington residents. They hand out basic food items and personal goods to people experiencing homelessness on Monday - Thursday, 9am to noon.

  • Arlington Urban Ministries provides emergency assistance for utilities, rent, food, personal hygiene items for those in crisis in Arlington. 

    Recipients must apply online and someone will respond within 3 business days.
    

    Participants must participate in certain classes like financial, life skills and/or employment readiness.

    Residents can get help one time a year. There is a high demand for assistance at this time. 

    Rent assistance is for those who have received and eviction notice.
