Programs:
Youth Centers:
The youth centers provides treatment for youth ages 6-17 with behavioral/emotional disorders and their families. The majority of youth will receive counseling or skills based services as well as psychiatric services when needed. Specialized programs for juvenile justice, human trafficking, and foster care are available if the youth qualifies. Clinical assessments are completed on youth when they enter services to determine the best service array. Their need is assessed by the treatment team at all three of the locations.
Youth Outpatient Substance Use Treatment:
The Child and Family Services division of MHMR provides substance use outpatient treatment for youth ages 3-17 in three locations in Tarrant County. Locations are in Fort Worth, Arlington, and Hurst. Each location provides group-based treatment. Individual substance counseling is also utilized when the need is assessed by the treatment team at these locations.
Youth Residential Treatment Center:
The Youth Recovery Campus (The Campus) houses a 16-bed, full-time residential program for male youth, age 13-17. Youth are referred from several juvenile probation officers, truancy courts, and school districts. Also, the program accepts youth who are self-referred. The average stay for treatment is 45-60 days.
