    The Center for Transforming Lives is

    collaborating with the Texas Tenants’ Union,

    Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas, and Texas A&M

    School of Law to offer a series of free Tenant

    Empowerment Workshops in Tarrant County.

    
    

    The workshops will provide information about

    leases, evictions, deposits, and repairs.

    Individuals with experience dealing with

    landlord/tenant issues will be on hand to

    answer basic questions about the law and the

    legal process. For one-on-one assistance, please bring a

    copy of your lease and any other documents

    related to your questions or concerns.

    
    

    Financial assistance will not be distributed at

    the workshop, but information on eviction

    prevention resources in Tarrant County will be available.
