Resource Network (PRN) is a
non-profit agency that operates the federally funded Texas Parent Training and
Information Centers- PATH, PEN and TEAM. Our region is serviced by PATH.
They can help parents and foster families understand their child’s
disability, understand your rights and responsibilities under IDEA, obtain and
evaluate resources and services for your child, and fully participate as a team
member with professionals in planning services for your child. They are able to
attend ARD meetings and advocate on behalf of the child along with the parent
or foster parent to ensure educational needs are being met.
