    The Get-a-Ride service provides service to 6 counties: Clay, Cooke, Fannin, Grayson, Montague, and Wise. Rides are now provided by TAPS Public Transit in partnership with Transdev.

    This service is open to the general public

    To get a ride with TAPS you must schedule your ride at least 48 business hours in advance and between the hours of 7:00 am and 3:00 pm Monday through Friday.

    How to Schedule a Ride:

    Our call center is open to schedule a ride, Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm

    All trips must now be scheduled by 3:00 p.m., at least 2 business days, before the trip date.

    If you have special transportation needs due to a certified disability, please make sure the Call Center Agent knows that you may need special equipment assistance.
    

    TAPS drivers do not make change. Exact amount of the fare is due upon boarding the TAPS vehicle.

    
    

    To be eligible for half-fare rate, a valid Medicare card is acceptable.
