  • We provide more than 40,000 clinical services, including evaluation and treatment, to 4,000 children and adults annually.

    We offer intervention services for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder.

    Our cochlear implant program treats children who are deaf.

    We provide a variety of other hearing services for children and adults.

    Speech and language therapy helps children with articulation and motor speech disorders, delayed language, feeding disorders and stuttering, and helps adults with cognitive-communication impairments and stuttering.

    Individuals with social communication disorders secondary to autism often struggle with social communication. The demands of college and work can be very challenging. Young Adult Social Communication Groups support young adults ages 18 to 30 in developing important skills necessary in the college and work settings. The program is led by a licensed speech-language pathologist with the support of graduate student clinicians.

    Cost: $300 per fall or spring session / $150 for summer session + $75 nonrefundable enrollment fee due prior to program start to secure enrollment. Reduced price for UTD students.

    Audiology evaluations consist of a series of tests used to determine whether a hearing loss exists and, if so, measure its type, degree and configuration. An audiologist will assess the results of each individual test in order to develop a treatment plan geared toward your unique hearing loss.
