According to the Lake Worth ISD website:
Any child age 18 or younger may receive breakfast and lunch meals for the week.
Meals can be picked up on Mondays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Howry, Collins, or LWHS.
Children do not have to be present to get meals, but parent/guardian must provide one of the following:
· Student ID badge
· Birth Certificate
· Student report card
· Any documentation from the school district listing children enrolled
· Government benefit letter listing children (SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, etc.)
Meals are packaged to take home as schools are closed.
***The district will provide six meals per child on Monday (for Monday – Wednesday) and four meals per child on Thursday (for Thursday – Friday). This will improve the efficiency of providing meals to children, while better practicing CDC guidelines of social distancing. Meals sent home for consumption on a later day, will need to be refrigerated and cooked prior to consumption. Cooking instructions will be included with each meal.***
