Special Needs Ministry:
Each month, we open the church for special needs children and their siblings to come to Holy Covenant while their parents have a night out. Few of us know what it is like to raise a special needs child, yet there are many in our community who have a child with special needs. Kids want to know they have value and purpose! Special needs children CAN have a personal knowledge of Jesus Christ! Jesus dealt with many people with disabilities — his inclusive methods aim us at the most important part of our friends — their souls.
Holy Covenant UMC maintains an emergency food pantry for those in need. The food is non-perishable items received through a partnership with North Texas Food Bank. Clients may receive food once per month per household.
The Early Childhood Development Program has been meeting the needs of preschoolers (18 months through Kindergarten) since 1978.
Holy Covenant hosts a blood drive through Carter BloodCare. Everyone 18 and over is encouraged to donate.
