Turtle Creek Recovery Center’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed to help individuals struggling with addiction who would benefit from a structured day program. We offer an evidence-based curriculum that incorporates best practices in substance abuse treatment, including counseling, education, and skills training. IOP offers individualized care for persons struggling with addiction, as well as continuity for clients following completion of residential treatment.
Outpatient groups meet Monday through Friday from 9 am to 12 pm or 1 pm to 4 pm, with coffee and snack breaks. A light breakfast and lunch are also provided. Successful completion of IOP usually takes between four to six weeks. After IOP graduation, we offer continued care in our Supportive Outpatient Program (SOP), which helps bridge the transition out of treatment. Bus passes are offered to clients who have transportation challenges. Outpatient clients have access to our counseling and support services.
Our Clients
Our clients are 18 years or older and have mental illness, chemical dependency, or both. About 90% have both mental and substance abuse disorders. Most of our clients are indigent - many are homeless. We do accept a few private pay or self-funded clients. Our clients are referred to us by a variety of sources--most clients are self-referred.
Acceptance Policy / Referrals
Our admissions requirements are simple and clear. All admissions are voluntary. Persons aged 18-65 who meet the following criteria may be admitted to the program:
