Family Life Center
The Family Life Center is a residential program designed to assist homeless families in regaining self-sufficiency. We serve parents or grandparents with dependent children who are homeless at the time of program enrollment. Guests are provided with private sleeping accommodations (including linens), hot meals, showers (including towels and toiletries), case management, counseling, life-skills classes and referrals to other community resources.
Christmas Assistance
Lack of adequate income prevents many families from providing Christmas gifts for their children. The Salvation Army's Christmas Assistance program depends on generous gifts and contributions from caring individuals. Applications are handed out in early September each year.
Summer Heat Relief - Cooling Stations
Extreme heat can be life-threatening. During the summer months, we provide an air-conditioned sitting area and water to keep people healthy and hydrated.
Computer Lab
Computers provide participants the opportunity to search for jobs, increase computer skills, or complete homework assignments. This lab will also be used by various programs within the Youth Education Town to teach literacy, ESL, and to meet homework needs. Other groups and individuals will be able to use the lab during open hours.
Youth Education Town After-School Program
YET's After-School Program provides a safe place for youth to study and participate in fun, enriching activities during out-of-school time. Youth are able to enjoy various sports activities, as well as dance, theater arts, music, book clubs and health and fitness workshops. These activities, along with daily tutoring and homework, create the perfect formula for healthy, happy youth. YET's After-School is open to school-aged youth, including high school students, and operates Monday-Friday between 3:30-7:00 pm.
Summer Day Camp
We offer low-cost, summer-long day camps, which provide a safe place for parents to leave their children. Each year, financial sponsorship are needed from corporations and organizations to help underwrite equipment, supplies and field trips.
College Outreach
Offers UTA students an inclusive community where both the spiritual and physical needs can be met through a variety of innovative ministries. Operates during the college school year.

The program consists of athletic programs, an after-school program, summer day camp, homework assistance, music, dance, arts, and more.
