  • We offer comprehensive quality care and services that include pediatric care, adult health care, well women/obstetrics services, dentistry for children, WIC services and pharmacy services. We also offer podiatry, optometry and behavioral health care for patients by referral from our physicians.

    At Los Barrios Unidos Community Clinic we believe that every child’s health care is a priority. Our dedicated, board certified Pediatricians and Medical Staff provide a wide range of medical services from preventive care and physical exams to chronic illness management.

    We offer children the following services in our Pediatric program: Immunizations, Early Childhood Development, Well-Child Visits, Acute Care, Physical Exams, Vision and Hearing Screening, Chronic Disease Management (i.e. asthma, diabetes, etc.), Laboratory Services, Health Education

    Los Barrios Unidos Community Clinic dedicates itself in providing high quality care to adult patients.

    Adult Medicine physicians, Internists and Medical Staff focus on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of adult diseases, including diabetes, hypertension (high blood pressure) and other chronic illnesses.

    We provide adult patients with the following services in our Adult Clinic: Preventative Health Care, Sick Care, Chronic Disease Management, Immunizations, Laboratory Services, Family Planning, HIV Screening, STD Counseling and Treatment, Health Education, Clinical Breast Exam, Screening Mammograms, Pap Smears

    The Los Barrios Unidos Community Clinic Dental program provides comprehensive dental care for children up to age 17. Our dental staff help patients maintain a healthy mouth and treat dental caries, the decay that leads to cavities and infections, for a healthy smile.

    Our dental staff educate our young patients on the importance of good oral hygiene and proper diet. Main focus is placed on caries education to help prevent future dental problems.

    We provide children with the following services in our dental program: Cleanings/Fluoride, Dental Exams, X-rays, Sealants, Resin restorations or tooth-colored fillings, Extractions, The First Dental Home Visit

    The exceptional Behavioral Health team at Los Barrios Unidos Community Clinic (LBUCC) includes licensed clinical social workers, a licensed master social worker, and a half-time psychiatrist. Behavioral Health services are provided to patients by referral through LBUCC Clinicians.

    Behavioral Health services are offered to patients of all ages who can be assisted by out-patient counseling interventions and/or medication management. These services include brief exam room consultations during a patient’s regular visit, individual counseling, disease management counseling, diagnostic assessments, play therapy, medication management and referrals for offsite services as necessary
