Summer camp is a series of 6-day overnight summer camp sessions for children and adults with special needs who may not be eligible to attend other camps due to the severity of their disability or medical condition. They include activities for campers' siblings without disabilities. Camp Camp is located in Center Point, Texas, along the Guadalupe River. A well-equipped climate controlled cabin is available for 24-hour care. There are many activities including horseback riding and swimming. Scholarships are available. Camp fees vary. The Camp does accept respite funding through the Class, MDCP, TxHmL, HCS, DBMD waiver programs.
This program also offers Respite Weekend Camps, Parent's Night Out and Teen and Adult Day Adventure. Membership dues are $60.00 for one child and $10.00 for each additional child and is good for the entire respite season.
