At Brighter Tomorrows our primary goal is to provide emergency safe shelter where survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault can begin healing. Our services are provided free of charge and confidential regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation or age to both shelter residents and non-shelter residents. Services are offered in English and Spanish.
Brighter Tomorrows staffs 2 emergency safe shelters in Grand Prairie and Irving at undisclosed locations. Both locations are gated and equipped with security cameras. Our emergency safe shelters can house up to a total of 72 residents (women, children, and men). Clients and their children receive meals, clothing, crisis counseling, advocacy and safety planning assistance. Clients have access to individual counseling, support groups, community education, and referrals (i.e. housing, employment, child care, training, governmental resources, etc.)
