  • Criteria to become a patient of the Luke Waiters Center: Must be a Texas resident between the ages of 5 and 14 years, child must be proficient English speaker. We are unable to provide services to children whos learning difficulty is primarily due to: Low cognitive ability, attention problems, emotional/behavioral problems, autism or pervasive developmental disorders, hearing or vision impairment. Scottish Rite for Children participates with a number of private and public health insurance plans like Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, and Cigna.
