. They are currently offering two different ways to get tested:
. Drive-Thru testing site logistics
-Every Tuesday and Thursday 8am to 5pm.
-Located at the Veterans Center (925 Conover Dr, Grand Prairie, TX 75051)
-The testing is contracted out to Mi Doctor (part of MD Medical Group)
-They highly encourage residents to make an appointment online through MD medical’s portal. They do accept walk-ups.
-Drive-Thru Testing Criteria With Symptoms: Any Grand Prairie resident and any employee of a Grand Prairie business / school district / charter school
Without Symptoms: First responders, healthcare facility workers, anyone 65 years or older, anyone with a chronic health issue (diabetes, asthma, heart issues, etc), grocery store employees, essential workers, city employees, school district / charter school employees
At-Home testing logistics
-Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8am to last appointment
-Group goes to where the individual is located and does testing at their residence.
-Appointment only through the MD Medical group’s portal. o This is primarily for the elderly and/or vulnerable population, those who have no transportation to the drive thru site, and those who are disabled.
-At-Home Testing Criteria § 65 or older and household members, Anyone with a chronic disease and household members, anyone disabled and household members, anyone symptomatic without transportation
