For some children, as well as most adolescents and adults, ABA therapy is best provided at home in the individual's natural environment. In these cases, Behavior Pioneers will assign a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to develop and supervise programs and interventions, and a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1-to-1 therapy in the home setting.
Advantages of in-home therapy include increased opportunity for parental involvement, and potential sessions on evenings and weekends. This is also ideal for individuals in need of support with self-help skills and activities of daily living (e.g., showering, brushing teeth, cooking, chores, etc.).
We also offer a hybrid program (part center, part in-home) for families seeking assistance with challenging behaviors in the home that also want to access the center for its great opportunities to increase social skills and school-ready skills.
