Sessions with children and adolescents may include talking, drawing, directive activities, homework assignments, game playing and/or role playing to help facilitate communication, problem solving and resolution of struggles.
Children's family members may also need to be more actively involved in treatment in order to help resolve struggles affecting the functioning of the family. Family sessions may include the child's parent(s)/caregiver(s) and/or siblings.
Evaluations available for a variety of behavioral and emotional struggles including learning disorders, including autism, learning disorders, developmental disabilities, ADHD, and behavioral and emotional struggles.
Sessions may be non-directive, directive or a mixture of the two based on the child's needs. She will work with children who have ADHD and with autism such on behavioral therapy.
They work with common struggles of: disruptive behavior, depression, anxiety, family conflict, ADHD, Attachment, Self-Harming, Suicidal Ideation, Low Self-Esteem, Bullying, and Trauma and PTSD.
