Helping Hands for Single Moms’ mission is assisting low income single mom families as the mother attains a post-secondary education, financial independence, and positive family legacy.
Have at least one child living with them that is under the age of 11
Have an adjusted gross income at or below 150% of the federal poverty guidelines
Be legally single or divorced and not living with a domestic partner
Be enrolled in a university or college degree program (online acceptable)
Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and nine credit hours per semester
Be willing to participate in the organization’s Single Mom College Community meetings (6 meetings per year)
Agree to follow program guidelines
