Findhelp.org’s network connects people seeking help and verified social care providers that serve them. Their team researches, verifies, and adds qualified programs to their listings so they’re easy to find on their search platform. Their program search is free, open to the public, and easy to use so anyone can find help and connect with programs in just a few clicks. Begin by typing in a zip code and then it will take you to the services in that area and they are listed on the top of the screen and include; food, housing, goods, transit, health, money, care, education, work and legal. If you go to a heading such as health; it will pull up subtitles such as dental care, mental health care, medical care and vision care. Click on the service interested in such as dental and will pull up services in that zip code and list: main services, who they serve, phone number, how far it is from the zip code, and hours of operation. Under the tab of more information there is a listing of: availability; description; languages served; cost; program website, and Facebook or twitter; coverage area, and nearest location with a map. There will also be the company phone number; daily hours of operation and email address in an easy format. Multiple locations are listed if they are available in that area.
On the start page there is a tab for select languages and there is a multitude of languages that the services can be found in so that caregivers can search in their own language the resources that will be provided.
A user can set up an account, save and share programs, keep notes on programs, manage referrals, and access analytics about the program and community.
