Counseling for Children & Adults:
The counseling provided by our Behavioral Health Counselors are aimed at helping patients figure out changes they can make in their lives that will improve the issues they are having. Typically, this includes learning new skills to better cope with and manage day-to-day stress, but can also include changing your thoughts to achieve the results patients and their medical professional would like to see. Our counselors work closely with our medical team to ensure that all of the patient’s care team are working together toward common goals. When needed, our counselors will arrange for referral to additional services in the community that may benefit a patient.
