Early Intervention Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services will help to improve the learner’s ability to sustain social interactions, develop age-appropriate play skills and improve connections with others in their natural environment. As Technology advances, it expands our capability to provide early detection and diagnosis to children as young as the age of 2. In doing so, it provides opportunities for young learners to be able to access treatment sooner which allows an opportunity for us to address skills deficits at a time that their brains are more reactive to environmental stimuli.
At Texas ABA & Child Development Services, we have designed our program to be centered on the way that children learn best... through play! Our program incorporates Natural Environment Teaching (NET) as our primary method of service delivery and is supplemented by real-world opportunities for generalization of new skills. A typical day for our learners involves opportunities to engage in Cooperative play which helps to facilitate social interactions, Movement play, which helps to develop gross motor skills and opportunities to develop adaptively by increasing independence in the areas of toileting, self-feeding (e.g. using fork/spoon, cup) and most importantly...in Communication! Our program is designed with learners from all stages of development in mind, from emerging to advanced.
