DRC staff work with MHMR Tarrant County to assess people experiencing homelessness, especially those who live with mental illness.
Directions Home (City of Fort Worth) program assists individuals and families, who have been chronically homeless, in locating, applying for, and securing appropriate housing.
Case managers provide follow-up support to ensure continued success and assist individuals with obtaining critical documents such as birth certificates to obtain a driver's license.
Directions Home participants can attend Tenant Supportive Services through MHMR, to learn about how to be a good tenant, gain life skills, find community resources, and connect with others who have escaped chronic homelessness.
