Project Hope Scholarships: Each family signs a contract that stipulates goals for specific areas such as education, career, faith and other objectives determined by the family. As a Project Hope Scholarship recipient, you may receive financial aid for occupational training, college tuition, books, GED assistance, testing expenses, transportation expenses, seminars, etc. based on the continued progress of these stated goals.
Mentors and Coaches: As a participant in Project Hope, you will meet regularly with coaches that will provide support, encouragement, information and a sense of connection. Mentors can assist in areas such as preparing resumes, tutoring for academics, establishing a workable budget or improving computer skills.
Computer Training: Project Hope offers computer training in a small group setting as well as personalized tutoring. Classes are offered in popular topics including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, email, and internet usage.
Project Hope Seminars: Seminars will be offered on topics including personal safety, working with your child’s teachers, maintaining your automobile, maintaining your home or developing study skills.
Parent Support Groups: Project Hope hosts informal discussion groups offering families support in areas including parenting, personal, and family issues.
