-24-Hour Crisis Hotline
The Family Crisis Center operates a 24-hour crisis hotline (903-583-7000), answered by trained advocates.
-Counseling
The Family Crisis Center provides victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and other violent crimes. They are trained peer counselors and have referrals for professional counseling. They have parenting classes, domestic violence classes and women's empowerment classes.
-Crisis Intervention
The Family Crisis Center provides victims with legal advocacy services such as assistance with protective orders, assault charges, and crime victim compensation. Courtroom/Medical/Law Enforcement accompaniment, and support for hearings.
-Community Education
Prevention and educational health fairs, workshops and trainings are provided upon request to college groups, businesses, service clubs, community groups, and organizations.
-Other Support
The Family Crisis Center provides clients with many of their basic needs such as food and household toiletries. In the summer, they collect and distribute fans, in the winter, they collect and distribute small heaters and coats. They receive donations and hand out Christmas food boxes, have a drive and work with Clayton Homes to provide Christmas gifts for low income families in Fannin County.
