We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving youth, single parent families and veterans struggling with poverty and homelessness in, and around Tarrant County, Texas.
Beyond serving immediate needs, we seek to equip and empower those we serve to restore hope, dignity and self worth as they work to achieve stability, transformation and self-sufficiency. We take a holistic approach meeting people at their point of need, walking with them and providing opportunity for self-improvement through relative programs, resources, continued education, relational case management and mentoring.
Through our programs, we are changing the way people assist those experiencing homelessness. We provide a space for individuals and families to lift themselves up and connect with resources as we walk along side them on their journey to stability and self-sufficiency. Relational case management, relevant resources, programs, services and group mentoring empower change and life transformation.
Rides for Hope Program
Our Rides for Hope Program provides transportation assistance to individuals and families in need. Whether its with daily or monthly bus passes, gas cards, car payment assistance, automotive repair bills or by gifting a bike, car, truck or van; we lift families up by filling this one, very important need! Reliable transportation is a key to helping families remain housed, recover from homelessness and become self-sufficient. YOU can help us have a positive impact on a family by donating your used car, truck, van, motorcycle, boat or RV TODAY!
Thanksgiving Outreach is all about sharing our bounty with those in need during the Holidays! We collect all the classic food items for a complete Thanksgiving meal, and put together food baskets to deliver to no-income/low-income families so that they can celebrate the day just like you and I! We have delivered over 450 Thanksgiving Baskets since 2012, many of those baskets are provided for families transitioning from homelessness into housing. For some, this will be their first Thanksgiving in their own home after experiencing homelessness.
Our program is unique in that, we seek to serve children and families that would likely receive NO Christmas without our intervention! We wait to accept referrals until mid November (long after all the other Christmas programs have passed their deadlines). Then we only accept referrals from other organizations, teachers, and counselors who have personal knowledge of the child(children's) or families needs. When you adopt a child or family for our Christmas Wish, you are truly making a difference in a child's life!
