Employee Placement is for adults with disabilities who choose and are able to work in the community or those who graduate from our Work Center Vocational Training Program, Achieve offers hands-on employment placement services. Achieve is a Ticket to Work employment network service provider.
Initial support includes:
• Skills, interest, needs, and work history assessment
• Resume writing and review
• Interview preparation including mock interviews
• Transportation assistance
• Online and offline job search training with guidance towards best suited jobs
• Step-by-step training to complete online and offline employment applications
Once clients are placed in a job, our goal is to ensure they receive the support and guidance necessary to retain employment. Post-placement services and support is provided as long as clients remain employed, such as:
• Transportation
• Scheduling changes
• Management changes
• Assignment of new tasks
• Personal/behavior issues
