Food Assistance program, operating two food pantries the mobile pantry, in Grayson, is Friday 10 am to 12 pm and the Client Choice, in Sherman, pantry is Saturday 9 am to 1 pm. Sherman location is at 209 S. Heritage Pkwy and the Grayson location is at 222 South Heritage Parkway.
For longer term, they provide educational support for children and English proficiency for adults. Their key educational programs include the After School Program providing homework assistance and tutoring for school children, Monday through Thursday 3:15 to 6pm (cost $30 a month); MasterKey Bilingual Academy full day pre-k, an affordable preschool for 3- and 4-year-old children from low-income families; Summer Learning for children of low-income or limited English households, and Adult Education with ESL, GED prep classes and Citizenship Classes.
Provides a 16-week class that focuses on helping individuals and families build economic stability and, in the process, creating a better future for their community Tuesday evenings 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
