Utilizing the rigorous, evidence-based Parents as Teachers (PAT) curriculum model, Born Learning serves more than 500 children (ages 0-5) and parents each year. We teach parents to be their child’s first and lifelong teacher and to understand the individual developmental needs of their children.
At weekly or bi-weekly home visits parents can expect:
Parent Educators to model positive parenting skills
Comprehensive educational and developmental assessments
Setting milestones and activities to encourage growth
Monthly Group Connection events at museums, park, the zoo, and other educational locations
Educational resources
Family socialization to build social capital
Networking opportunities
