Outpatient Treatment Options
Texas Health Huguley Behavioral Health's outpatient services include:
Full-Day Partial Hospital Program: The full-day partial hospital program offers comprehensive outpatient services, including nursing and physician care, for patients who do not require inpatient care or for patients who are transitioning from inpatient treatment. The goal is to help stabilize patients through the use of cognitive behavioral skills for daily living and self-management.
Monday through Friday, 10 am to 4 pm
Half-Day Intensive Outpatient Program: Half-day Intensive outpatient programs are for individuals needing a structured therapy program that offers counseling and education in a group setting. Led by experienced clinicians the programs provide daily support and a safe place to talk, learn problem-solving skills and practice stress-reduction techniques.
Monday through Friday, 10 am to 1 pm
Counseling for Adults with Psychiatric Disorders or Substance Abuse: The team of counselors and psychiatrists at Texas Health Huguley Behavioral Health will provide:
Help to identify sources of stress
Strategies to cope with problems
Tools to return to a healthier, happier lifestyle
If needed, addiction recovery resources
We also provide after-care support services and community resources to keep your life balanced and moving in a positive direction.
Inpatient Treatment: Texas Health Huguley Behavioral Health offers comprehensive inpatient care for the acute crisis stabilization of psychiatric and substance use disorders in a safe, structured environment. Our facilities are created for the patients we serve, fostering personal attention for each patient.
Treatment plans, created by our multi-disciplinary care team, address next steps and ongoing recovery needs. These plans outline a strategy unique to each individual patient.
Adolescent Program: Texas Health Huguley Hospital is here to help. Seeking professional help for an adolescent struggling with mental illness, behavioral health issues, or addiction can be difficult and overwhelming. Our health care professionals, including physicians on the medical staff and licensed counselors, will assess your child’s needs and develop an individualized care plan to help them manage their health concerns in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Patient Referrals: Texas Health Huguley Behavioral Health welcomes referral calls from physicians, employee assistance programs, human resources, counselors, therapists, families or others who may be concerned about the mental and physical well-being of an individual.
Patients can also self-refer by scheduling an appointment with healthcare professionals — or by simply walking through the door of Texas Health Huguley Behavioral Health location during office hours, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. Appointments are encouraged. Help and hope are close to home.
Complimentary Assessment: Sometimes, patients take that first step themselves. Other times, a referral call is made by a family member or health professional who is concerned for that person's mental health and well-being.
Walk-ins are also welcome at our outpatient behavioral health center from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.
When a patient arrives at Texas Health Huguley Behavioral Health, he or she benefits from a complimentary evaluation and assessment. The behavioral healthcare professionals determine that individual's present symptoms and past psychiatric and medical history to determine the type of care most appropriate.
