    HOMESHARE

    The Dallas countywide home share program facilitates arrangements between individuals who have housing but need financial assistance and people and/or families in need of housing. Staff provide screening, home visits, interviews, information and referrals.

    Eligibility

    • Providers must live in Dallas County and offer a private bedroom to qualify.

    •Home seekers must want to live in Dallas County and want to share a home.

    •Persons applying must be 21 years of age or older

    GROUP RESIDENCE
    

    Provides longer term residency to the homeless and a safety network of supportive services which include educational, social, economic, mentoring and collaborative services for child care and life skills training.

    Eligibility-requires a commitment of 3 months, with a case-by-case consideration for additional time to homeless single parents with children and older adults.
