  • Texas Neighborhood Services (TNS) — Community Services Programs assist economically disadvantaged individuals, families (regardless of size), and the elderly to overcome lifestyle barriers so they can make positive life changes in order to become self-sufficient. This is accomplished through a variety of methods:

    
    

    Utility assistance programs – State and/or Donated.  Direct payments to vendors for qualified participants for natural gas, propane, electric and for 2022 water assistance.

    Lifestyle management services to assist individuals in finding appropriate employment

    Referrals to agencies for services not directly provided by our organization.  We believe in supporting the community as a part of the social safety net.  Not every non-profit can be the end all, be all for every person in need.  TNS strives to be a leader in bringing partners to the table for support.

    Through TNS — Community Services’ ways of work, clients learn to become financially independent, reducing and eliminating their reliance on social services.
