Fort Worth Hope Center Food Distribution Program - Approved

• Fort Worth Hope Center distributes food twice a week to families who live in Tarrant County (Tuesdays & Fridays 9AM-11:00am). They also provide dog/cat food and hands on training for certain certifications from OSHA in Tarrant County, applications and calendar can be seen on website.

• Detailed Information

  • Food Pantry is open on Thursdays and Fridays and has a schedule of dates for openings. They also offer holiday meals per household, with no voucher needed but they do need to be contacted.

    Every family is given food to at least last them a week. 

    Their comprehensive training programs provide the skills and confidence you need to get ahead.

    Training Provided includes:

    I.  OSHA compliant forklift certifications 

    The Forklift certification program has skyrocketed over the past ten years. Because the students receive hands-on training following OSHA requirements, they are better prepared to apply for forklift jobs. After graduating, students have gone on to obtain jobs in warehouses all over the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. 

    They currently offer hands-on training and certifications on the following forklifts:

     1.  Electric Sit Down

     2. Stand Up Reach

     3. Order Picker

     4. Propane Sit down with Clamp Attachment

     5. Electric Walkie/Stacker Pallet Jack  

     6.Electric Walkie/Rider Pallet Jack.
