Offers limited financial assistance for rent, mortgage, utilities, and can explore applicable resources that may help solve for unexpected financial impacts such as a sudden loss of employment, inability to afford basic living expenses, and food insecurity. Dental Clinic: Provides high-quality dental care with a fee structure designed for low and moderate income families. Their Services include preventive care, general services, and specialty services. The Gabriel Project: works with families from pregnancy until their child is 18 months old. Each client will be paired with an Angel, who will walk with them through pregnancy and beyond. They provide spiritual and emotional support, help mothers and fathers find resources, and encourage families to seek services that help achieve their long-term goals. Immigration Consulting Services (ICS) provides legal assistance to individuals who are eligible under the law to apply for immigration benefits. Services include personal consultation, application preparation and filing, and administrative legal representation for our clients. Refugee Services consist of several programs designed to assist refugees and asylees who have been forced to leave their homeland because of persecution based on race, religion or political affiliation. Transportation Services: Provides rides for; employment, medical, education, public benefits offices and quality of life trips. Call 817-336-8714.
Tax Preparation and Financial Coaching: Provides services if income is below 60,000 and married are filing together (Vita eligible). second site at 1500 N. Main St. Ft Worth. Dates and times listed on website. Helping with planning, developing, or budgeting resources. They will also provide employment assistance.
Pregnancy Support: (call 800-545-5935). Services are offered to new and current CCFW clients that are:
*Currently expecting
*Have at least one child in the home under 36 months
*An approved adoptive parent of an unborn child
*A parent or legal guardian of pregnant minor who is a Catholic Charities client
*A parent or legal guardian or adult caregiver of a child under 36 months of age
*Or a parent who experience a miscarriage or loss of a child not more than 90 calendar days before the parent begins participation in the program services.
Children under 5 yrs. are also welcome to attend.
In addition to educational opportunities and peer-to-peer support, attendees will also receive assistance in connecting with other local supportive resources. Additionally, they will have access to their on-site baby supply closet, and other baby-related necessities as available (diapers, wipes, etc.)
