SERVICES PROVIDED:
FAMILIES TOGETHER : Provides transitional housing for single mothers and their children, experiencing homelessness due to domestic violence.
YOUTH AND FAMILY COUNSELING and SKILL-BUILDER CLASSES: Offers real help for youth, up to age 18, and their families, dealing with real-life issues like anger management, bullying, reducing conflict and parenting wisely.
KINSHIP NAVIGATOR program offers outreach, education and support for those caring for relative children.
s a voluntary program which offers support to families who are caring for relative children with an array of services that may include support groups, parent education, in-home services, referrals, concrete services, and assistance to licensure or adoption.
ASSESSMENT, INTERVENTION, AND REFERRAL SERVICES (AIRS): A 24-hour crisis call response, centralized assessment, intake department for ACH programs, and makes referrals to services in the community.
THE LIFE (LEARNING INDEPENDENCE FROM EXPERIENCE) PROJECT : A supervised independent living program for youth, ages 18-21, benefit from a variety of housing options that promote learning, provide guidance, build necessary skills and lead toward full independence as they are aging out of the foster care system or homeless.
SAFE PLACE: Provides immediate help to young people under the age of 18 years, experiencing a crisis.
YOUTH EMERGENCY SHELTER: Offers runaway, homeless, street youth, and trafficking survivors, ages 10-17, 24-hour immediate safe shelter and care while ACH works to reunite them with their families or find safe and stable alternative living arrangements.
ADOPTION: Provides services for families until the adoption is finalized. Also provides post-adoption support and referral services to families, as needed.
FOSTER CARE: Provides services for children, ages 0-17, in the conservatorship of the state of Texas
RTC: A safe environment for teenagers to work on skills and healing.
TURNING POINT: A crisis intervention, acute stabilization, and family preservation program providing foster children and caregivers with therapeutic interventions that prevent hospitalizations and placement disruptions.
