    When referral is received Cook Children's Child Study Center mails parent application.

    Once Cook Children's Child Study Center receives completed application, they review it (can take 4-6 weeks).

    Once application is reviewed Cook Children's Child Study Center mails parent a letter with either appointment day and time or notifying they were put on waitlist.

    Programs: 

    Jane Justin School enrolls students between the ages of 3 and 21 with developmental and learning disabilities and related behavior disorders.

    *small classes and low student to teacher ratio,

    *one on one tutoring so that students learn at their own pace,

    *individualized education plans,

    Applied Behavior Sciences is a behavior disorders clinic and Autism services team the provides treatment to children with developmental disabilities who display difficult behaviors such as noncompliance, tantrums, property destruction, self-injury, aggression and food refusal.
    

    Psychology Testing and Therapy provides comprehensive testing for children in order to identify developmental delays and emotional disorders.

    Insurances accepted include many private and Medicaid programs. Clients can go to Insurance Plans (cookchildrens.org) to determine if their insurance is included.

    School is a tuition based school.
