  • • Some of our counselors are in network with UnitedHealthCare,  Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem, Optum, and UMR.
      
    • At this time, we do not file claims for Medicare, Medicaid, or Tricare.
      
    • For in-network counseling, your insurance will cover the sessions if they are medically necessary. What this means is that you would have to be diagnosed in order for your insurance benefits to cover the sessions. Sometimes people come to  counseling to talk about life and have no diagnosable condition. When this is the case, insurance will not cover it unless it is through your EAP. If you do not have a diagnosable condition, you will have to pay in full at the time of your appointment. For any questions, please call our office manager.
    • For out-of-network counseling, you will pay for your session up front (usually only $75) and we will file a claim for you. From there, should your insurance provider cover out-of-network benefits, they will send you a reimbursement check instead of sending it to us because they will see on the claim that you have already paid in full for your session.
    • Note: If your insurance does not cover out of network benefits, our Masters Level Associates may be a great option for you. Their counseling sessions cost $50, which is about what you would pay for a copay.
    • Couples Counseling: Most insurance providers do not cover couples counseling.
