New Day Services for Families and Children - Approved

• Provides: family services to resolve conflict towards cooperative parenting, anger management, case mediation, co-parenting skills, life coaching, and reconciliation; crisis resolution, individual counseling to dealing with parenting stress for fathers and mothers in all counties served by HMG. This program works to empower fathers in the family. Services are provided at a low-cost rate for families and this can meet CPS guidelines for a parenting certificate. Services may be by zoom live or in-person or a combination of both.

• Detailed Information

  • Services include: 

    *anger resolution classes-cost is $300.00, can be made in payments; total payments must be made to receive graduation certificate; online classes; parent must register online at don@newdayservices.org.

    *focus-10 week program for a mother and a separate one for a father to strengthen co-parenting relationships and promote parent's parenting skills.  Referrals are received from CPS and Child Support Courts, along with private entities. Parents receive a mentor navigator to assigned a mentor-navigator to assist them in the classes and reinforce what is learned in real life situations.  The cost is $400.00 but CPS or courts often pay; if not this can be paid out over time. 

    *case mediation--only for court referrals and are at the Family Law Center and it is open to the New Day program.

    *co-parenting classes-$ 25.00 per parent and are held one Saturday per month, 9 am to 1pm women/ 10 am to 2pm men.  Parents must register online; done by zoom. Parents can go to: co-parenting@newdayservices.org to register.

    *individual counseling on parenting stress and there is no charge, but this is not just general counseling.
    

    *reconciliation programs.

    They accept CPS referrals and assist with programs to meet the needs for services.

    Services are low cost and depends on the program the family is interested in.
