Sexual Health Program: has a Licensed Sexual Offender Treatment Provider (LSOTP-S) who along with trained staff provides individual and group counseling services on an as needed basis for these youth. Sexually abusive youths follow a structured treatment program based on the Pathways Model which incorporates weekly individual and group therapy services. The LSOTP-S and specialized staff also provides basic sexual education to all youth at Brookhaven Youth Ranch.
Sexual Health Program addresses a range of issues from sexual boundaries, sexual identity, or sexual acting out behaviors.
Clinical Program: treatment model emphasizes a behavioral and relational approach to every aspect of therapy for a child. Youth work to achieve levels, which the youth must earn by achieving certain objectives, both behaviorally and socially. A youth must maintain his current level for a minimum length of time before being eligible to move up to the next level. Youth are monitored and their progress is assessed weekly by the Treatment Team, which includes the therapists, direct care staff, teachers, and other professionals working directly with the youth.
