To empower children and their families to lead healthy and productive lives by promoting success in education, nurturing wellness in mind and body, and developing skills.
Programs:
New Life (0-3 years old) - Parenting classes. 12 sessions with activities and limited home visits. Must be pregnant or have a child under 3. Incentives: 12 sessions - $500.00 gift card. Can receive a free car seat.
Strengthening Families (6-16 years old) - Build child parent relationship. 14 sessions, twice a week for seven weeks.
Life Skills Training - 3rd - 12 grade students. Teaches how to resist negative social pressure, increase self-esteem and confidence, cope with anxiety and reduce health risk behaviors.
Pathways Leadership for 9th - 12 grade- 9 month program. Student must have a B average overall. Required to do 46 hours of community service. Complete 46 hours of service, receive a $500.00 college scholarship.
College Achievement Program - Helps parents and students in planning and paying for college. Can enter to win a $1,000.00 scholarship.
Summer Breakout - 1st - 6th grade. Program is in the summer at school campuses and community sites.
