Battering Intervention and Prevention Program (BIPP) is a program of help and change based on accountability. There are many individuals who have battered those who love them the most, but there are only a few that have the courage to admit they have a problem and take responsibility for choosing non-violence in the future. The program is designed to change batterers belief systems as it relates to violence against women in their lives.
The program structure:
Two-hour orientation: Fee $35.00
Intake – one and half hour (1.5) individual session : Fee $0
18 minimal weekly psycho-educational group sessions : Fee $25.00
24 minimal weekly psycho-educational group sessions (Dallas & Collin County Only)
Exit Session-One hour : Fee $0
The Battering Intervention and Prevention Program meets the Texas State Guidelines of BIPP Programs and has been accredited by the State of Texas, Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Community Justice Assistance Division. (TDCJ-CJAD).
BIPP Partner Advocacy Program:
PA Program provides a supportive service to the partner/victim who may be currently or previously in relationship with current BIPP Clients. This volunteer operated program provides to the partner resources and pertinent information.
Teen BIPP:
Teen Battering Intervention and Prevention Program (TBIPP) is a program of help and change based on accountability. The program is designed to change batterer’s belief systems as it relates to violence against teen girls in their lives. The group is designed for boys ages 12-17 that are referred by the courts, probation, and/or volunteers.
ADULT ANGER MANAGEMENT: Fee: Intake $40.00 / $20.00 per class
This is a psycho-educational based program with the premise that anger/aggression can be controlled. The target population has anger/aggression directed to parents, siblings, friends, co-workers, and neighbors. This is a 12-week program. This group is open to men & women.
TEEN ANGER MANAGEMENT: Fee: $20.00 per class session
This is a psycho-educational based program with the premise that anger/aggression can be controlled. The target population has anger/aggression directed to parents, siblings, friends, co-workers, neighbors, and peers. A Parent/Guardian must attend with Teen. This is an 8-week class.
Substance Abuse Treatment/Counseling
Marijuana Intervention Class

Per class session Fee $25
The purpose of this class is to provide information and motivation to quit using marijuana. This is a structured 12-week program consisting of weekly 1-hour class sessions where the participant’s complete homework between each session. The program can assist clients to recognize and manage marijuana urges, and during the process, are presented with the history of marijuana, the role media plays, the addiction cycle, recovery versus abstinence, and relapse prevention tools.
This is a 12-week class, 1 hour per session.

Drug and Alcohol Offender Education
Classes: Fee $100.00
15-hour required
Persons convicted of a misdemeanor or felony drug offenses are appropriate for this Texas certified program.
The standardized program is 15 hours in length. It is designed to increase the knowledge of participants by educating on the dangers of drug abuse and associated illegal activities, identifying individual drug-use patterns, and assisting them in developing a personal action plan targeted at reducing the probability of future drug using and illegal behaviors. Upon completion of class, each participant will receive their certificate.
Teen Homeless Program (Karrington's Place)
Karrington’s Place will be a residential facility for teens between the ages of 16-24 that are aging out of foster care. Karrington’s Place will offer teens a safe, supportive and inclusive living environment. Residents receive individualized case management, life coaching, financial planning, individual and group counseling, mentoring
Our program will require a minimum of six months stay and up to 24 months to permanency. Teens must be referred by case management and not have turned at 19 before placement.

THINKING FOR A CHANGE: Fee: Intake $40.00 $20.00 per class session
This is a cognitive-behavioral curriculum developed by the National Institute of
Corrections, which was designed to change the criminogenic thinking of offenders.
Thinking for a Change is a cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) program that includes
cognitive restructuring, social skills development, and the development of problem-
solving skills. This class is a coed. The class is 25 weeks one hour per week.

PARENTING CLASSES: Fee: $50 per class session
This is an educational program designed to teaching parents how to use appropriate rewards as part of their discipline. Parents will also learn which parenting technique works for each child. Topics includes age appropriate effective communication, recognizing child abuse and educating parents on appropriate parent/child boundaries. This is a four (4) week-3 hour class for a total of 12 hours of instructional class.

THEFT INTERVENTION AND PREVENTION CLASS: Fee: $50.00 or $100.00 per class sessions
The goal of this class is to identify and change the feelings, thoughts and actions that have caused people to steal from others. This class will provide participates with tools to manage difficult situations in effective ways. This is a one 4 or 8 hour day class as required by the courts. Dallas-MLKJr.
